Weekly Quads and match games at Windward Chess Club rated by CXR

Chess Game formats: Quads & match games held every Wednesday night! Meeting Time 5:30pm to 8:30pm. Quads (A group of Round Robin tournaments) four or six players per Quad by rating! To play register between : 5:30pm to 6:30pm. Quads Start: 6:30pm & 7:30pm if you want to finish a Quad the week that it's started, please bring your chess clocks and set to G/15. Otherwise we have no time limits per move! If in 4 player Quad - there will be 3 rounds! If in 5 / 6 player Quad - there will be 5 rounds! Match games: Both players must sign in before playing, to indicate date and time and at the end of game mark what the result was on the form! Match game Sign-up form will be on a clipboard by club directors area. USCF rules apply to all games played at WCC! The current in house club ratings can be found at WCC Weekly Events

Last few we had from two to four Quads running at various strengths, so come earlier and sign up, we normally have no entry fees, unless all parties agreed at start if there is to be cash prize! All Quads and match games at WCC are CXR rated! To encourage players to play in these CXR rated Quads we are announcing the prizes of free entry to the 2006 Hawaii Championship's for one adult players and one scholastic player from WCC, scholastic players also get a free entry into the Le Jardin Academy 3rd Annual tournament held next year on Sept 30, 2006! November is seeing lots of chess tournament activity both scholastic and USCF tournaments, being held Nov 11 and Nov 12. See HCF calendar for details. both of these tournaments will have games rated by CXR! HICL will also rate the Nov 11 tournament which the second scholastic tournament of the season. See current HICL Standing - Hawaii Interscholastic Chess league! As a matter of fact from November to April, HCF has scholastic tournaments scheduled and the last of the 2005 for scholastic will be December 10, so be ready for more chess action the next two months in 2005!
